There is perhaps little left to say about the much lauded work of Robert Macfarlane. He is becoming something of a national treasure and his latest book, which celebrates the link between language and landscape has been welcomed by his groupies far and wide. Always a wonderful read for anyone in love with the wild, and not so wild, landscape beyond their backdoor.
