Oliver Rackham, sadly no longer with us, has written many wonderful books but this short monograph is my favorite.  Rackham knows about trees and about plant pathology and he does not mind de-bunking popular theories especially those not based in science. Read this book and you will learn much about the ash tree as well as a folly of the existing and past Governments.
