About the book: The Reverend Paul Gismondi, the chaplain of Hatfield House, found himself in a bizarre situation during the COVID-19 lockdowns. Hired as the chaplain to the Marquess of Salisbury, he found himself preaching to a bubbled congregation of a family of four. This congregation soon grew, as these sermons were streamed around the world, providing solace to many in a time of global crisis. Here, after hanging up his cassock at Hatfield after four years, Gismondi has collected those sermons into a book which may continue to inspire readers to reflect. 

About the author: The Reverend Paul Gismondi was ordained in 2016. He is priest in charge of All Hallows on the Wall in the City of London. From 2020 to 2024, he was Domestic Chaplain in Ordinary to the Marquess of Salisbury at Hatfield House, having previously ministered at the Holy Trinity Sloane Square and the Sandringham Benefice. He spent his previous career primarily as partner at the investment banking firm Lazard and Co.
